Welcome
A hello, a thanks, and why I started this blog.
Welcome and thank you for being here!
Whether you arrived from a search result, a link someone else shared, or just by clicking around, I’m glad you’ve come this way. Writing for myself is easy; writing knowing someone might read it is another story.
I’m Fabrizio, a Senior .NET Developer who for years has been building reliable software on the .NET stack: RESTful APIs, microservices, and more. Most of what ends up here will lean in that direction, with C#, .NET, SQL, design patterns, and much more. I’m also studying cloud and AI engineering, and over time posts on these topics will show up here too.
Now let’s get to the part you might be curious about: why does this blog exist? Three reasons keep me writing.
Sharing what I learn
Most of what I know I learned elsewhere: from a more senior colleague’s tip, official docs, video courses, technical books, or an interesting post I came across on social media. If even one post from this blog ends up in that same pile, the time spent writing it pays for itself.
Getting better at writing
Explaining an idea clearly is a skill, and like any skill it gets rusty without practice. A big part of senior work is communication: design docs, code reviews, explaining a decision to the team. This blog is my training ground for saying complex things simply.
Thinking, not just delivering
Code is the artifact; the reasoning behind it is the value. Putting that reasoning into words is where the real work happens: half-formed ideas reveal their gaps, and trade-offs I would have glossed over demand an honest answer. If I can’t explain why I picked one approach over another, I probably don’t understand it well enough yet. That’s the bar I’m trying to clear here.
That’s it. No content calendar, no monetization strategy, no obsession with growth. Just a place to write things down before I forget them and to leave a trail for whoever might find it useful.
Thanks again for stopping by, and enjoy the journey :)
